Victorian Vampire:
A Sultry Halloween Look
So, I have never done Halloween looks and i'm not fond of actually recording myself and doing it on YouTube (i'd feel super self-conscious) but, I still wanted to get involved in the Halloween craze so, I did a look that reminded me of a vampire but, it also had a very dark victorian sense to it. It's actually something that reminded me of the character Katherine from the Vampire Diaries book series (but of course, this is just my interpretation).
This look was actually quite easy. For the eyes I used the Wet N Wild Palette in Lust. These colors are super blendable and pigmented and are amazing for the price. So, I used almost every color in the palette and just made it super dark and sultry. I then smudged some of the gray color on the lower lash line to increase the smokey effect. I lined my waterline and tightline with black liner and added Benefit's Bad Gal Lash to achieve the big lash look.
The most exciting part of this look was the lipstick. For the dark plum lips, I used NYX Lipstick in Medusa. These lipsticks are super creamy and beautifully pigmented. I feel like the lipstick is what made the look!
I hope you guys enjoy this and maybe, try it out and see if you like it. I see this look being paired with fangs (of course), a beautiful victorian inspired corset dress, and some beautiful curls in your hair... OMG... just thinking about it makes me want to dress up!
ENJOY!
Hugs and Love,
Edith
