FOTD: "Fall"-ing into Color

Face of the Day
August 21, 2010:

Since all of my stuff is already to move for Tuesday, I decided to play around with my Jesse's Girl pigments and get ready for a farewell dinner with my co-workers and girlfriends.
Today's face of the day is called "Fall"-ing into Color and it's a mix of warm and rich fall colors like gold, brown, burgundy, and incorporates a pop of color in a vibrant purple on the lower lash line. I was inspired by a few looks I have recently seen on youtube and thought that this would be a perfect look for the fall. I love the way the purple pops without making it look too over the top or unwearable. It's perfect for the day time and easy to transition for night.

For this look these are the products I used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- MAC Paintpot in Rubenesque
- Jesse's Girl Eye Dust in Gold
- Jesse's Girl Eye Dust in Cafe Au Lait
- NYX Ultimate Pearl Shadow in 05 Copper Pearl
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Virgin
- MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul
- L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black
- Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick in 902C
- Kat Von D Lightning Lipgloss in Bam!

My favorite thing about these Jesse's Girl pigments is that when you use them dry they are soft and super blendable and when used wet they are bright and vibrant!

This look was super fun and I loved it.

The Wet n Wild Matte lipsticks are so fabulous. I really recommend them to anyone who is looking for matte lipsticks without spending a ton of money.
They retail for about $2.99 and can be found at Drugstores nationwide.

What are your go to looks for the fall?

Hugs and Love,
Edith
