OPI Swiss Collection for Fall 2010 Haul:
Okay, so I caved and got a few colors from the OPI fall collection called Swiss.
It's colors are all really beautiful and a bit on the darker side which is perfect for the fall.
I was pretty positive when I saw the promo pictures that I was going to want every color in the collection, but when I saw them in person, there were only 3 that really caught my eye.
When I got home, I realized that I already had a few colors that look almost exactly like them! It's okay these color are all fabulous and I was excited to add to my already huge collection.
This was my favorite color of all. 'Yodel Me on My Cell' is a beautiful royal blue shimmer with just a bit of green and tons of micro-glitter. When I brought it home, I realized how much it looked like the 2010 Summer Flutter collection's 'Catch Me in Your Net' which is my all time favorite color. The difference is the CMIYN comes off a bit more green and has bigger pieces of glitter where as to 'Yodel' has the micro-glitter and comes off more blue.
Here's the comparison of each of them in the bottle:
'Yodel' on the left and 'CMIYN' on the right.
The next color is 'Glitzerland'. It's a beautiful shimmery gold metallic color. All of the colors I purchased are super glittery and remind me of the upcoming fall holidays (ie: Thanksgiving and Christmas... yes, I just said Christmas in August). 'Glizerland', although I've always felt I can't wear golds, fits my skin tone perfectly as it's more yellow than gold. My favorite thing about these polishes is that unlike the Summer Flutter colors, the micro-glitter leave behind almost zero glitter after you remove the polish!
The last color is 'Lucerne-Tainly Look Marvelous'. This is a beautiful deep charcoal color with tons of silver micro-gliter. This color reminds me a lot of 'Baby it's Coal Outside' from the 2008 Holiday Collection and it also resembles 'Suzi Skis In The Pyrenees Suede' in the bottle but not at all in the actual finish.
Overall this collection was really beautiful. I loved the fact that all of the colors were perfect for fall and had a color that embodied every person's color preference. I love each of the colors I purchased and was super to add them to my collection!
Hugs and Love,
Edith
